About

I am a composer and percussionist currently studying music and math at Swarthmore College, and am interested in formal structures and exploring (i.e. breaking) the boundaries between different kinds of music.

On the math side of things, I’m most interested in modeling and emergent behavior, particularly as it appears in nature. Connecting math and music is an ongoing project, and one day I’ll make a piece about the Lotka-Volterra equations or something, but that day is a long ways off.
